Art Week 2025
At the forefront of contemporary urban art, Wynwood Walls Museum remains the world’s premier destination for outdoor street art. Curated by Jessica Goldman Srebnick and celebrated globally as “The Olympics of Street Art,” the museum continues to push the boundaries of the genre.
For Miami Art Week 2025, Wynwood Walls unveils ONLY HUMAN, a powerful theme reflecting what connects us in a rapidly evolving technological era. The exhibition features new murals and installations by leading artists including Cryptik, Seth, Joe Iurato, Miss Birdy, Quake, Persue, and Risk. This year also marks a historic collaboration for the first time in over a decade: a joint mural and collaborative works by El Mac x RETNA. The theme extends into the Goldman Global Arts Gallery with new works by Simon Berger, Sandra Chevrier, and additional celebrated artists.
Beginning November 24, guests can immerse themselves in Art Week with daily live mural painting, gallery exhibitions, interactive programming, and exclusive artist-collaborated retail.

Dave "PERSUE" (per-SWAY)
Miss Birdy (Mandi Caskey)
is a contemporary muralist and storyteller from Columbus, Ohio, known for transforming public spaces into imaginative portals. Blending surrealism, mythology, and emotional narrative, her large-scale works appear across the U.S. and abroad. Raised in Lima, Ohio, she left art school to pursue mural painting firsthand, developing a distinct style that fuses feminine figures, nature, and symbolism. Through her immersive, community-driven approach, Miss Birdy explores resilience, transformation, and connection, turning walls into living reflections of human experience.
Seth
started expressing himself on the walls of Paris’ 20th arrondissement in the ‘90s, gaining recognition in the graffiti scene. After graduating from the École des Arts Décoratifs, he worked in advertising, animation, and comics, but he never stopped his street art. Seth published the book Globe Painter (2007) and was the author and presenter of the documentary series Les Nouveaux explorateurs. He has developed a unique painting style centered around the theme of childhood. The faces of the children Seth depicts are often unseen, allowing viewers to project their innermost selves.
Cryptik
uses spirituality and consciousness as the central elements of his art. Whether acrylic on multi-layered wood panels, canvas, or as murals, his works are truly mesmerizing. Cryptik combines iconic, mandala-like illustrations of deities and spiritual leaders with his unique calligraphic style to alter perceptions of reality into new perspectives
Joe Iurato
is a New Jersey-based multidisciplinary artist whose works are built on a foundation of stencils and aerosol paint. The vision falls somewhere between simplistic and photorealistic; his style delivers a distinctly clean, illustrative aesthetic. Iurato has also become known for the unique placement and photography of miniature painted wood cutouts set in public spaces. Using the outdoor environment to create site-specific installations, he opens windows into a whimsical narrative formed by moments and memories. Before leaving each installation behind, he documents it with a photograph, offering specific, intentional viewpoints of the artwork in relation to its surroundings, manipulating our perception of scale and dimensionality.
RISK
from Los Angeles, was among the pioneers who boldly painted on unconventional canvases, including freight trains, freeways, and buses. At the zenith of his career, RISK took graffiti from the streets and brought it into the clothing scene with the groundbreaking Third Rail brand. RISK’s artistry is characterized by a relentless focus on the traditional aesthetics of letter formation. He deftly combines this with his distinctive deconstruction techniques and masterful color layering, resulting in a visually captivating tapestry of color architecture that interacts harmoniously with its surroundings. His work has been featured at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and in 2023, he won the Art Wynwood Lifetime Artist Achievement Award.
QUAKE
born and raised in Miami, QUAKE jumped headfirst into graffiti in the mid
90’s, inspired as a youngster by the illegal masterpieces he saw in his neighborhood. He was eventually able to focus that energy into a BFA degree from the University of Miami in 2007, and shortly thereafter formed his own creative design and mural company, Cushy Gigs Creative in 2011. QUAKE is mainly inspired by abstract typography treatments and the everyday things he sees around him; including Miami’s bright color palette, evolving skyline, marine life, crashing waves, and his street art inspired “isms”, but prides himself on tackling new projects whenever given the opportunity. You can find his work painted throughout the streets of his city, and many others around the world. He has worked with a variety of global brands and respected local Miami businesses and entities. He is also a featured artist at the famed Wynwood Walls.

RETNA (Marquis Lewis)
born in Los Angeles in 1979, has developed a singular visual script merging calligraphy, ancient writing systems, typographic structures, and graffiti lineage. His language functions simultaneously as image, pattern, atmosphere, and spiritual cadence. RETNA’s work spans monumental murals, studio paintings, fashion collaborations, and architectural interventions worldwide. His pieces are collected globally for their abstraction, tension, and ritualistic rhythm.
El Mac (Miles MacGregor)
born in Los Angeles in 1980, is internationally recognized for portraiture defined by technical mastery and meditative linework. Drawing from classical painting traditions, symbolism, devotional iconography, and Chicano culture, his works honor lived experience, human dignity, and the presence of everyday people. His murals and artworks have been shown internationally—from the Groeninge Museum to QAGOMA, Fondazione Prada, and major institutions across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Sandra Chevrier
is a Canadian contemporary/pop urban artist known for her captivating portraits of women from The Cages series. Born in 1983, Chevrier earned her bachelor’s degree in visual and media arts from UQAM (L’Université du Québec à Montréal). As a self-taught artist, she first fell in love with art as a child; to her, it became a language of its own. Chevrier began drawing sketches of eyes, all the time. This initial obsession is evident in her current work. She describes herself as a “gaze collector” and her work as a dichotomy—a dance between power and fragility, freedom and captivity, the poison and the cure.
Simon Berger
is a contemporary glass artist exploring the material, hammering, lacerating, and cracking it. Wood and scrap metal inspired the artist’s first pieces, created from the streets. Berger’s unique technique was born out of artistic explorations using car windscreens. With a fascination for faces, he engraves portraits that play with light and transparency, plunging the gaze into a meander of lesions that he calls “Morphogenesis.” In the form of apparent vandalism, Berger’s work provokes the theory of a “broken window.” The glass is a medium for light, while the hammer is not used for destruction but to amplify its effect.
Hebru Brantley
is an American contemporary artist known for his narrative-driven characters that reimagine modern mythology through a lens he calls “dark fiction.” He uses vibrant palettes and youthful figures to explore nostalgia, identity, power, and hope. His celebrated Negro Mythos series and his iconic Flyboy character recast pop-culture heroes as people of color. Brantley’s work has drawn prominent collectors and collaborations with brands such as Nike, Hublot, Lego, and Adidas. Beyond the canvas, he has created large scale experiential installations and is expanding the FLYBOY Universe through his media company, Angry Hero. He holds a B.A. in Film from Clark Atlanta University and is represented by Nanzuka Underground in Tokyo.
