PRO176, born in Paris in 1976, launched his artist career at the age of 5 when he taught himself how to draw by copying the art of famous American comic illustrator Jack Kirby. By 1991 PRO176 started creating letters and styles as his priority, joining the ranks of the Grim Team in 1996 and the Ultra Boys the following year. PRO176 embraces the new form of graffiti with comic book aesthetics, futuristic abstract mathematics, alphabetical constructivism and Picasso inspired cubism. From walls to canvas, PRO176 embraces his mentors’ style while creating his own dynamic interpretation.
