QUAKE, born and raised in Miami, QUAKE jumped headfirst into graffiti in the mid 90’s, inspired as a youngster by the illegal masterpieces he saw in his neighborhood. He was eventually able to focus that energy into a BFA degree from the University of Miami in 2007, and shortly thereafter formed his own creative design and mural company, Cushy Gigs Creative in 2011. QUAKE is mainly inspired by abstract typography treatments and the everyday things he sees around him; including Miami’s bright color palette, evolving skyline, marine life, crashing waves, and his street art inspired “isms”, but prides himself on tackling new projects whenever given the opportunity. You can find his work painted throughout the streets of his city, and many others around the world. He has worked with a variety of global brands and respected local Miami businesses and entities. He is also a featured artist at the famed Wynwood Walls.
